Kitty is DONE!Yes! I finished the cat! Wooo hooo!!! I made mine so that it can sit on its own. Red Heart super saver's stiffness actually served a purpose! heeeeee. My dd loves the way it came out, so I let her go ahead and become the "adoptive mother".... she's pleased~ and quite frankly, I am more into the process than the product.
I posted two pictures because the shadow makes a strange impression...as if there is more bulkiness to the headear area...
The directions were pretty easy to follow. If I were to venture into making yet another cat, I believe I would actually put those fake eyes on it because this slit of an eye thang is way too wierd for me... ALMOST looks like it is dead?? I know, they're not "X" 's but still the slits?? Kinda odd... But I wanted to try to stay true to the pattern.... I guess the cat is supposed to be sleeping? However in one of the poses (in the instructions) it actually looked like maybe it was in prayer? How did I draw that conclusion? Well, the cat was positioned in a kneeling fashion... ? who knows what the deal is... All I know is, I am DONE! On to the next project..... yeah!

I think you misunderstood what we were laughing at. We weren't laughing at fingerless gloves...Janene and I are actually making them. My friend Tara didn't know what they were and thought that they were just little cloves that ended at the fingers so you could only put your fist into them.
We were in no way making fun of the gloves...just Tara's misunderstanding of them.
