Whipped it out!
Yes, quite frankly - that is what I did! Just finished weaving the ends in, and the skinnier version of the earflap hat is done. Ok, well aside from the crochet edging and the braids. BUT that is on hold until we find a yarn that recipient desires! That shouldn't take too long, once the said recipient actually rises out of his deep slumber! I am amazed at how fast this hat cranked up. Worked it up in no time flat! Two waits for different a.m. school buses... and a couple more hours of alone time-- wooo lah! DONE! Pretty cool! The double thickness one certainly did NOT work up with such ease!
