A NEW VIEW:
After much thought and consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the time spent working with the first dog WAS time well spent. In fact, although she did NOT get to complete her training, she did help get the word out about the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Each walk she did, sporting her flashy red jacket, was a "walking advertisement" for the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Therefore she did serve her community, she did "work" for Fidelco and her work contributed toward a greater public awareness to SHARE THE VISION...and now her work is done.
